Where It All Started
It was in 2006 when Rachel Leduc had the opportunity to join Canada’s mission to the Australian Commonwealth Games. It was a dream come true, to go the distance and visit the great Down Under.
And what a life-shaping experience this was for Rachel as she discovered the natural beauty of Australia and particularly New Zealand with its scenery, culture and friendly people. Whether taking-in the urban sights or appreciating the rolling plains of luscious farmlands, something different attracted her attention towards glowing and fresh-looking complexion of women in New Zealand. After many queries among local women, Rachel identified the common denominator; a local skin care line of products with ingredients that provide high amounts of proteins and collagen!
Armed with several jars of the “dream cream”, she returned to Canada, where she used the products and gave samples to like-minded women for feedback. All of them immediately noticed a profound change in the appearance, quality and texture of their skin. Enthused, Rachel contacted the company in New Zealand to place an order, but much to her dismay, was informed that these products were not available in North America.
This is when Rachel had her ah ha moment! With her strong sense of business in hand as well as firm belief this product is the real deal, she persevered and established her own company and developed products (that contained Sheep Placenta and Marine Collagen) for the Canadian marketplace with this New Zealand based company (JYP New Zealand Cosmetic).
For her friends and colleagues, this was not a surprise. She is known to be a strong force and one that is constantly fuelled by a desire to help enable other women. Since 2008, Rachel has gradually laid the foundation to create a new company and brand for women by women. Its foundational principles are simple: Offer women not only the opportunity to use innovative skin care products, but also allow them the opportunity to develop a profitable business while gaining valuable transferable business skills that help support better outcomes for women.
In 2009, her efforts yielded Beauté Venustas Beauty, a company that combines innovative skin care products made with quality ingredients with a generous business opportunity that attract women who are looking to take their future in their own hands.

True to the foundational values of Rachel Leduc, Beauté Venustas Beauty invests in causes and charities for women.
The Canadian Women’s Foundation is one such organisation. Rachel believes that their work is central to empowering women given when women and girls prosper, our communities, our families and those that surround us do. CWF raises funds for research, works to end violence against women and finds ways to create better socio-economic living conditions for lower income women and children.
Reducing Our Ecological Footprint
Knowing that actions today will affect the quality of life for generations to come, Beauté Venustas Beauty continuously seeks ways to reduce or mitigate its ecological impact. To reduce waste, the majority of Beauté Venustas Beauty product packaging complies with municipal recycling programs, including plexiglas bottles and containers.Beauté Venustas Beauty aims to eliminate excess packaging and uses post-consumer recycled paper bags.
Beauté Venustas Beauty admonishes animal testing in every phase of the development and manufacturing processes of our skin care products. We encourage alternative testing methods to produce equally valid results and safe products for human use, such as using computer models and using epidemiological studies.
